A Memorable “Evening in Wonderland” in Support of The Darling Home for Kids
17th Annual Comfort & Joy Gala Raises over $147,000!
It was an incredible journey “down the rabbit hole” on Thursday, November 5th, as The Darling Home for Kids celebrated “An Evening in Wonderland” – the 17th Annual Comfort & Joy Gala, presented by TD Wealth. The Burlington Convention Centre was transformed into a whimsical and wondrous adventure in the spirit of Alice in Wonderland, equipped with curious oysters, dodo birds, mystery boxes, dinner with the Queen of Hearts, and a visit from the Mad Hatter!
Our sincerest thanks go out to our event sponsors, special contributors, raffle donors, auction and prize donors, guests and volunteers whose outstanding generosity allowed us to surpass our initial fundraising goal of $125,000! Additional thanks go out to the talented and hard-working Comfort & Joy Gala Committee, who worked tirelessly over the past year to bring this event to life.
As our largest signature fundraising event of the year, the Comfort & Joy Gala is vital to the sustainability of The Darling Home for Kids. For 17 years it has been the cornerstone upon which the Home was built and continues to operate. The funds generated each year allow us to continue providing compassionate and loving care to medically fragile children, and much-needed support to ther families. Thank you!
