We are grateful for our incredible supporters who, over the past two years have rallied together for the No Go Gala Online Auction and joined us in 2021 for The Darling Dinner Series presented by Rogers Communications Inc. Together, these initiatives raised nearly $135,000 towards The Embrace Campaign and a bigger, better, Home away from home for our children and families.
We are excited to share that the 24th Annual Comfort & Joy Gala will be back in person this fall. We are looking forward to gathering again to see old friends and introduce new ones to our DHK family.

As Canada’s only paediatric organization providing respite, residential, and hospice services, we enrich the lives of children day-to-day and help them reach their full potential. The past two years have challenged all of us in ways we could never have imagined, and while there is certainly a new dawn on the horizon, the toll that the pandemic has taken on all of us will be felt for a long time to come. This is especially true for those we serve at The Darling Home for Kids. Our families, who rely on our services, have experienced more challenges than ever before in caring for their children with complex medical needs. While our doors have remained open for families in crisis, our typical respite and hospice palliative programming was suspended multiple times to ensure the health and safety of our immunocompromised residents.
Funds raised in the Comfort & Joy Gala and The Darling Dinner Series will help to support our core programs and services. With your help, we can provide each child with the best care possible.
