A Day in the Life of Faith – one of our amazing kiddos with us for Summer Camp!
Today I woke up at the Darling Home for Kids. The first thing I saw was the wonderful staff coming to help me get ready for this exciting day. I did not know what we were going to do, but I knew it was going to be fun!
The best part about the morning is breakfast time, I love when I get to sit around and chat with my friends while having yummy food. My favourite part about The Darling Home for Kids is the activities that we do every day. Today I had music therapy where I got to write a song and play and discover new instruments I’ve never played with before. I love playing with and listening to music, and I love that I got the chance to actually make music too!!
I also baked cookies today, the staff said they were the best cookies they have ever had and they even asked me to work for them and make cookies, but I can’t actually do that because I am too young to work, maybe when I am older I can work as The Darling Home for Kids Professional Cookie Baker. This camp is so much fun because I get to do arts and crafts and it makes me so happy to share one of my passions with fun people. I like making a mess in the sink after painting. I always get taken on walks outdoors, I love exploring new places!! After dinner I watched a movie with all my friends and then headed off to bed to look forward to another great day.
