Global TV Spotlight Shows How Our Home is “Making a Difference”

On Thursday June 30, 2011 The Darling Home for Kids played host to a small media crew from Global TV’s Making a Difference, hosted by Susan Hay.

Susan Hay and her crew spent the better part of the day filming the Home, the children and the staff in order to show how The Darling Home for Kids is making a difference in the community. The segment captured the beauty of our Home, the uniqueness of our programs and services and the joy that children experience while in our care.

 On this day in June all of our children felt like movie stars for the day as Global TV captured the magic of the Home and our children on film. Thank you to Susan Hay and Global TV for featuring The Darling Home for Kids and showing how we truly make a difference in the lives of our children and families.

The Making a Difference segment airs twice a week on the News Hour on Global TV and highlights uplifting stories and activities in the Greater Toronto Area.
