The Darling Home for Kids supports children and their families living with a life-limiting or life-threatening illness. Our support aims to enhance client and family centered and interdisciplinary service delivery in the community while improving the quality of living and/or dying.
Program Description
The Darling Home for Kids offers 4 types of Palliative Programming: Palliative Respite Care, Palliative Emergency Care, Palliative Transition Care, and Palliative End of Life Care.
Our support, in whatever form, is provided with the purpose of assisting children and their families to live full, active, independent lives for as long as possible and when this is no longer possible, to help children and their families prepare and manage life closure and the dying process.
