Having a disabled child 17 years ago changed our life in a way we never could have expected. Deciding to have Teigan stay at The Darling Home for Kids this weekend was an incredible decision for us and one that I thought we would never make. I had promised myself that I would only call once a day and interestingly enough I didn’t feel the need at all to call any more than that. I knew that she was being well cared for. As I lay in bed on Sunday I thought about Teigan having had such a great time at The Darling Home for Kids, and David [my husband] and I having such peace of mind and I realized that once again our life had changed in a way I hadn’t expected. Again our sincerest thank you to you and the staff at the Home for all you have done for our family.
