WAYS TO GIVE
Together we transform lives.
Make a Donation
Over the years, donors have been very generous in their support of The Darling Home for Kids. Donations make an important difference in our ability to provide specialized care and support to families with children who are medically complex. Each year, over 40,000 hours of respite, palliative and residential care are provided to families in communities across Ontario.
Donations can be made online, by phone, or by mail, and gifts of $10 or more will receive a charitable tax receipt.
Join Our Kaleidoscope Community – Consider a monthly gift!
When you choose to make monthly gifts to The Darling Home for Kids, you are joining an elite community of like-minded individuals dedicated to providing consistent, reliable resources to help care for our medically fragile and technology dependent children.
One donation each month, no matter the amount, adds up to a world of difference.

This support may be through volunteering their time and talents at an event, organizing a team fundraising event or by designating a portion of the proceeds from sales to support The Darling Home for Kids.

Become a Corporate Partner – The ultimate feel good handshake!
Corporations have an enormous impact at The Darling Home for Kids!
The support of partners and corporate philanthropy help us to continually move the boundaries of caring for children who are medically complex and medically fragile. Your collaboration makes a profound difference in the lives of these children and their families, and the mission merits investment.
Make a Gift of Securities – Saving families is now less taxing!
There have been important changes to the taxation of charitable gifts of securities. It is now even more tax-advantageous for you to make a gift of stock rather than cash and provides another way for you to invest in our mission.
Bequests and Planned Giving – Hope is an everlasting legacy
A charitable bequest made through your will is simple and impactful way of giving. It allows you to leave a larger gift to The Darling Home for Kids than would typically be possible during a lifetime.
Make A Gift In-Kind
Not all the support we receive at The Darling Home for Kids is financial. We are grateful for in-kind support from our community friends – including personal care products and toys, as well as auction items and housewares that make our house a home. Contact us today if you are interested in making an in-kind donation.
We continue to be impressed by the quality of care that The Darling Home for Kids is able to deliver. Every time we visit, we marvel at the Home’s ability to look after the needs of the children while ensuring that the Home continues to radiate warmth and comfort. As stewards of our patrons’ charitable giving, we take great comfort in knowing that our donations contribute to the Darling Home’s ability to look after our communities most deserving children and their families.
